1- Job, it pays the bills. j/k I've changed my attitude so it has gotten a lot better and there isn't so much drama anymore so it is a lot better. Hence the reason why I have a hard time working with girls. So thankfully they hired a guy and he is chill and we are buds so he balances out the drama.
2- Single wards- church in general. I actually did find a great ward that I went to for awhile and really enjoyed it. Made some amazing friends and learned a lot about myself and friendships. Then I kind of kicked myself out of the ward, they were going to do it soon anyways. And since then I've kind of been floating. So my goal at the beginning of the new year is to decide if I'm going to stay in the family ward, or go back to another singles ward, which is called the 90210 ward, so I don't know how well I will fit in, I've been once and the lesson's are great, it's just a matter of not getting intimated by all the gorgeous women, but I just kept telling myself, well there must be something wrong with them, if they are still single, so they are still in my boat. Suckers.
3- My roommates- I have gotten to know my roommates really well and I absolutely love them to death. I couldn't have asked for better girls to live with. Seriously no drama. And they keep me laughing. We still aren't home a lot at the same time, but when we are we chill and talk and talk about boys and life. They are amazing. Two of us actually sound like each other when we laugh. I know scary.
4- Salt Lake -The City- Well I am becoming more of a city girl, against my better judgement. I love having everything available to me. I seriously live in a little area called Cottonwood Heights and honestly you would never have to leave the community and you have everything you would need, at least shopping wise. Really not entertainment, but I come from a small town, we have to make our fun. I do enjoy though parts of the city life. I sound like I'm out there all the time, I'm not I actually am home a lot, but I did go to a few concerts this summer, went to a few Bee's games. Went to a hockey game. Went to my first pumpkin patch. So just little things that you can do for cheap. I love being up here close to my cousins we get together every couple of months and do things. Next week we are going to Temple Square to look at the lights. Also this year I went to California, Idaho, and Wyoming. LOL I know my friend made fun of me of my choices to travel. And all I have to say is "It's all about Family."
5- Family- This is the hardest thing about being up in Salt Lake is that I'm so far from home and the grandkids, although I'm not too far from Mindi so I'm able to go visit them more and have her kids get to know me better so that I will always be the favorite Aunt. I love her kids, I use to be able to only handle them for a small amount of time, now I can handle them for a few more hours before they wear me out, but I love them to death and they make me laugh so hard, with the things they come up with. Payton is always wanting to take my picture, and Kelton is always wanting to be in the picture with me so we take a lot of self portraits. They are my cowboys. And Jaquelle is our princess and she knows it too. Somedays I think she wont be so bad, but I think when she gets in her teenage years she is going to give her parents a run for their money. I miss not being close to Lisa and Little Jerzi. I can't wait to see her this weekend. On Christmas she will be 2 months old, she is a treasured angel for sure. I love her so much. I miss seeing Jeanette's kids all the time, they are growing up so fast, and the older I get the more I realize how much they act like me. How blessed their parents are. LOL! And now that Kaitlyn is getting bigger her and I get a long better, I think she is realizing how cool I am and that I'm going to be the one that will help her get through the rough years ahead of the teenage years, she still has a few years before that, but we all know that stage and your parents aren't cool. Hopefully I'll be cool enough that she can trust me. And I miss Aaron's family a ton, I was there to watch little Whit grow up and I'm sad that I'm missing Grady change. Everytime I see him he is so different. He is going to be walking before I know it. And the 2 oldest boys Britton and Cason , they are my buds. All they can talk about is sports so if you are willing to play any sports with them you are their new best friend. They are good too so watch out. I miss being able to see all the kids. Jace is almost as tall as me, and he is at the stage where he is too cool to have his buddy aunt Alli around, and that makes me sad because him and I have always had a special bond, but Justin, we have sleepovers, he loves his Aunt Alli he cries when I have to leave. I love the little squirt. He makes me laugh. A few weekends ago Aaron and his family came up and I had the kids over night. It was a lot of fun, once I got Grady to sleep me and Whit had girl time and she painted my nails. She was adorable about it too. She told me, when I told her she could paint them, she said "Alli, this is going to be so fun, thats why your my favorite". I love my nieces and nephews. And I can't wait to spend Christmas with them. I miss my parents too, they are the greatest in the world I couldn't ask for better.
So I think I might like this blog thing, kind of like a journal. I need to keep one too, so this could be good. I'm not going to promise updates all the time, but I will try, that is my best effort I can give. I will try to get more of a life then my family. LOL. I do actually have a life well sort of. I can make anything entertaining. Like sitting here on my bed writing this when I should be doing laundry. LOL!
Also if you have gotten to the bottom of the entry, first thanks for taking 10 minutes out of your life to read about mine and also if you know how to add more music to my play list will you let me know. I thought I had it figured out, I went to the log in place where it says add more music, I found songs and added them and now I don't know how to add them to my blog. Hee Hee. Maybe for some of you me having a blog is going to be more of a hassle than anything for you.
Loves until next time I decide to write, maybe next year. LOL
